Current Blue Version Team:

(Mind you, I’m only halfway through Mt. Moon right now)

Level: 16
Attacks: Scratch, Growl, Ember, Leer.
Why: He was my starter! Also I have a pillow best friend of him. Obvious choice.

Level: 15
Attacks: Thundershock, Growl, Thunder Wave.
Why: It’s Pikachu! And paralysis and lightning based attacks are nice.

Level: 15
Attacks: Tackle, Hyper Fang, Quick Attack, Water Gun.
Why: He has few weaknesses, deals decent damage and has a water attack to balance out my team’s effectiveness!

Level: 14
Attacks: Gust, Sand-Attack, Quick Attack.
Why: Sand-Attack. And investing in a flying pokemon for later.

Level: 11
Attacks: Tackle, Bide, Defense Curl
Why: Strong defense, goo against normal types (several starters)

Level: 11
Attacks: Poison Sting, String Shot.
Why: I have no fucking clue. Poison I guess, but why didn’t he learn Harden as Kakuna? Butterfree had the same issue as Metapod. Insect type filler I suppose.

Suggestions? My resources are limited until I get further, but I NEED to keep a team ready to fight at any moment. A couple of friends and I have restarted our games and become rivals, so they can challenge me literally at any moment!
